Little drops shape
BUY THIS PATTERN AT RAVELRY OR ETSY (IN ENGLISH AND DUTCH)
This is a shape: a cape with a good fit around the shoulders, that stays in place. I designed it because I don't like shawls and capes that don't fit and don't stay in place.
It is knitted top-down, has a beautiful raglan line from neck to armpit, and colourwork further down. The raglan line ensures that the shape fits nicely around the shoulders, and some added elastic in the armpit on the wrong side ensures that it stays in place all day long. The photos show size 40.
The material is 100% wool, called Bio Shetland from BC Garn. It is soft, warm and sustainable.
Every size, from 36-54, has it's own (depth of) yoke and colourwork, so that the shape as a whole remains well balanced. Every row is included in a colour chart. The pattern is written in detail. It is written in English and Dutch.

Difficulty level/techniques used: intermediate. You know how to cast on, to knit colourwork, to purl colourwork, to use a stitch holder, to bind off, to knit garter stitch and to add some buttons or clasps. (If you want to do a steek and just knit in rounds, of course you could do that, too.)
Needed: Bio Shetland GOTS (read further: yarn used), circular needles size 2,5 and 4 (3 and 3,5 mm), and clasps or buttons.
Gauge: 5 stitches per inch (roughly 20 per 10 cm). You knit this yarn double.
